Karyuu

2) How old is he/she?
about 719 last time she counted. Looks about 19ish

She's a she, Girl :B

4) What's his/her race?
She's a Ryu youkai. It roughly translates to dragon demon in English. However in truth she's a dragon spirit that also has a humanoid appearance and a full dragon appearance.

Appearance

1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
If she were to be pulled out of her own timeframe and into the modern realm well... She could get alot of stares. Her clothing would because it's traditional Japanese male clothing, covered in stains of dirt and blood. Plus her weapons as well, she might get chased by police if they were to find them *which wouldn't be hard.* Katana and wakisazhi are hard to conceal. P: Her pale skin is another factor. Not many normal humans,unless skin problems/goth/emos, were to have that pale white color. Her eyes as well, unless one wouldn't look hard enough, they'd noticed that they're almost feline slitted blue that had the tendancy to change colors*another factor that people would say she's not human* Also hair length*no normal human grows their hair that long* ears would stand out as well. Because they're elfish. Also Her teeth, unless she kept her mouth shut, people would probably pass her off as a vampire or something due the length of her canines. If she were to appear in modern day Earth she wouldn't like it and the humans would probably be afraid of her or just pass her off as a freak of some kind.

2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
Possibly or possibly not. Humans tend to hunt down her kind. And her kind wants her dead. She has multiple personalities. One lusts for blood, kills without mercy, doesn't care who it kills. The other is a pacifist. One who would protect any one, and defend against evil if she needed. Then there is her demon who is seperate to the two personas. If both personas were to merge then it'd be disasterous to everyone. Together they have the power to summon the Eastern gate of hell and unleashe hell on Earth. One of the fall backs of being a reincarnation of a gate keeper.

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
Her eyes, ears maybe(depends on how observant one is) scent and ki. If she were to change her hair color*which is doubtful she would because it's beneath her kind* or get a tan*is impossible to*. Her eyes will beable to give her away. They change colors depending which persona is incharge of her body, any kind of enemy would/could recognize them. Ears would be a definate sign of who she is because not many have elfish ears, however she has easily hide them under her hair. Scent and ki. If she hasn't masked them and you had the ability to smell her scent and sense her ki.

4) Would you consider your OC as attractive?.
Maybe in her one right. She might not agree.

Personality

1) Temper?
Depends. Her restraint is strong however sometimes something pops up and she remembers her past. Which weakens her hold on her bloodlust persona.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Yes however she rarely shows it.

3) Leader or Follower?
Possibly leader. However she prefers working alone than groups.

4) What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
Her guilt for past sins and the need to protect and defend again evil. Prefers solitude and not wanting to get involved in anything unless she had to. Her other persona's is a different matter. It craves to kill and taint the Earth red.She has no mercy to give and revils in death and destruction. Her demon is a mixture of the two however will not kill unless needed.

History

1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Yes, she did along time ago. However they were kill in a clan war. That's what the clan who killed them calls it. However this clan appeared one day to put a stop to their existance because of what they were and had harbored in their household.

2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
She has wandered from place to place alone. Searching for the clan who had slaughtered her family, in her opinion, in cold blood. While helping and pretecting anyone who she's met on the way. Fighting in wars and helping her country if it was in need of her assistance. She's currently wandering the earth because she no longer feels the need to senseless fighting and shedding blood and fights to keep her restraint on the one part of her mind that does. Occasionally meeting and fighting enemies and rivals who wants her dead.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Occasionally, she has. However she tries to forget and move forward in life. To help if another comes up, not really easy when one has live for as long as she has and seen what she has.

4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
The best part of her life was her childhood before all broke loose and the death of her family. Back when she used to practice with her older brother and uncle with swords. However she does find the joy in helping others through hardships which does help lessen the guilt.

Romance

1) Single?
Yes, of course. She doesn't believe she is worthy of anyone so there for pushes people away. Plus she's found that it only complicates alot of things if she gets attached to someone.

2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
She has had long ago. She met a soldier in a war. They both fought along side eacother till he found out that she wasn't human and indeed something otherworldly in his ideals. However she still made sure he was safe until she couldn't....

3) Virgin?
Um... actually she is... She never found the time nor interest in that sort of thing. Not when having to fight, defend and wander,run away from the things that love to haunt her and keep following her like her shadow.

4) Does your character like flirting?
She could, however doesn't usually have the time to nor does she travel with anyone else.

Symbolism

1) What animal would you associate your OC with?
Something feline. I'd say tiger... buut well she hates tigers. So I'm gonna say snow leopard.

if they existed back then or if she lived this long. Electric guitar. *her speed would play into how well she could play it* P:

Yes, I do... Alot actually... More than any other OC I made '=.=x

Sometime, depending on what I'm listening to and such.

With =metalgoddess029, but not recently.

4) What other ways have you appreciated your OC?
She's my main OC now... I had placed alot of myself and some parts of my favorite characters in her, including my other OC Sailor Earth into making her. Basically she evolved from my first oc, Sailor Earth and into something more which despite her having qualities of other characters, she is perfectly original and is not apart of any fandom.



RANDOMIZE!

1) Is your character wanted for anything?
Um... Yes yes she is... She's been hunted down by both humans and her own kind. Both wants her dead. A necromancer, who keeps following her also wants her dead, for some reason. She's killed many demons and humans alike, some during wars some just for killing.

2) What are three weaknesses in him/her?
1. While in pacifist mode(which she is normally) she prefers nonviolence and will not kill despite who her opponent is. Which she's almost gotten killed by them herself. 2. She has sensitive hearing, and hear anything from miles away however if one were to scream directly into her ear she could easily loose balance and have a splitting heache for several hours till the ringing stops. 3. Tiger demons have acidic venom in their saliva and blood. Which could kill her in seconds and leave her vulnerable.

3) Strengths?
1. demonic speed that allows her to move easily and evade most attacks as well as unleashing her own.
2. She can summon lightning storms and manipulate electricity as well as icy fire and wind. Her own magick... 3. Will protect the innocent and vulnerable people(even if they hate her) and will not give up or stand down in any fight.

4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)?
She will drink, occasionally, sake and other alcohol. However due to her tastebuds being more sensitive than humans she won't indulge in it much. Even if she never really find herself drunk of have hangovers. However she can't smoke. Her sensitive nose can pick up the smell and to her it's disgusting. It won't kill her however she just prefers not to because of it's stench.

5) What's one quirk about your him/her?
When she speaks softly/lowly she can easily gain attention of anyone if she sho wishes.

6) Does your character have any phobias?
She does not like the scent of blood and death. Usually tries to get as far away as possible if she's near anyone who's bleeding. *even if alittle*

7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage?
There's not much you can do that'll get them into a blind rage. She pretty much has a strong sense of restraint for that sort of thing. However sometimes, which is rare it can be possible. P:
8) Does your OC like chickens?
She loves the taste of them. Tastes just like chicken >:3

The Final Question

What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
Probably freaking weird. She'd be all over the place sniffing and asking questions of what things were and how'd they'd get things inside tiny boxes(t.v. computer).Plus she might make it worse by accidently blowing up the town and probably the next towns over if that necromancer ever found her. >.>x

This is something that came to my attention earlier this night. =goldblaze linked this to everyone in DreamingMyth's chatroom. For all artists to read:

Which you should if you haven't yet. Or don't know yet about this bill known as the Orphan Works Legislation.

As an artist we are all libal for getting our art stolen for money or however a thief wants to use it for. Though I never really considered a role in the art field not really until I joined deviantArt. I still don't consider myself a true artist though. Anyhow this bill, to those who have not heard of it or read this, will affect us all.

Even famous artists like Alex Saviuk & Roger Dean are concerned about this. This bill basically states that for it to be yours you must pay the fee. Must register everything you create or it's not your's legally. Infact we, as artists, won't be able to even sell our own work without this registration.
The whole career aspect of being an artist would be going down the drain. For it will get too expensive in the long run to pay the fee for each work we do. Not only that but we all know how artists were usually given the titles "poor artist", or "starving artist" because it's true for the most part. Most artists are poor and the only way for income is to sell their creations. With this in effect, it'll only make it harder for everyone who does any artwork/music/invent/etc. Because we couldn't sell what we have no right to. Infact all rights to any of our works would be null, gone. We wouldn't be able to even sign them.
Which I say I'm starting to think I'm in the wrong profession if this'll get passed. Creating art takes alot of time,patience and imagination. How a piece of art is created is through emotion, our emotions, through the soul and heart, our souls and hearts, mind, our minds, sweat and time, ours because we spent those days, hours, months, weeks on something only to get our rights taken away.
Not only that but how will we beable to say "we did this" when we have no right to claim it? Letting anyone else to just claim the work we spent so much time on. We pour everything into what we create only to have some government try to pass a bill that lets companies rights to what we made. What we thought of.
How dare they!

My thinking is if we had this bill back when the masters of the arts were still around. We would not be hearing of anyone named Da Vinci or Michelangelo or anyone else. They wouldn't have rights to claim or to write their name on the art. Instead they'd be claimed by some one else, a thief or the property of their government.
Artists were not rich! What they create is instantly their's. Copyrighted to them.

Atleast that's what I think if they had this bill in effect back then.

So we need to write to congressmen and representatives to prevent this bill from passing.

As I was searching through my notes, since I haven't done that in awhile now, I came across some from ~Kenshins-Soul telling me that one of my pictures was stolen. Thank you again Kenshins-Soul
Of course, since I have a history of dealing with art thieves who decided to show up and make fools out of me and fellow moderators of a chatroom. I knew thieves will steal anything. I just didn't think my art was good enough or was able to. However I apparently forgot I posted it on a forum twice long ago. I did though post a smaller version of it than the version I had up in my old gallery on MT and and in this gallery.
This picture is however long lost in the back of my gallery on here that probably no one even noticed it recently. * had posted it up like the 3rd she joined devArt anyways* but anyhow apparently this thief thought they could get away with posting on deviant art with a smaller resolution than what I posted up in the two galleries I own and have it in.

I'm not sure, but knowing like most thieves, this person might've stole from others as well. Especially with how many of those comments on their front page is hidden I'm beginning to suspect there was alot of others who had their art stolen.

Anyhow... yes my computer is still kinda messed up and I'm still without the use of my scanner. '=.=x * needs to find one that works or actually find it and see if it'll work on windows vista* I know I haven't been very active on this site and I'm sorry. It's just lately I've been really tired and it's either sleep or I've been very busy doing otherthings. I haven't even done much artwork or writing for that matter. * lack the motivation and inspiration.*

My complaint about Capt. Karyuu T. Hikyuu

I was outraged and ashamed after hearing about some of Capt. Karyuu T. Hikyuu's latest insinuations. Let me start by stressing that I am not attempting to suppress anyone's opinions, nor do I intend to demean Capt. Hikyuu personally for her beliefs or worldviews. But I do assert that I must give our young people the values that will inspire them to embark on a new path towards change. You can waste all your time arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. Or you can actually exercise all of our basic rights to the maximum. You decide. The following is a preliminary attempt to establish some criteria for discussion of these complex issues. To begin with, I have a dream that my children will be able to live in a world filled with open spaces and beautiful wilderness -- not in a dark, self-righteous world run by appalling individuals.

I have the following to say to the assertion that Capt. Hikyuu's precepts provide a liberating insight into life, the universe, and everything: Baloney! It will not be easy to shatter the illusion that we can all live together happily without laws, like the members of some 1960s-style dope-smoking commune. Nevertheless, we must attempt to do exactly that, for the overriding reason that one could truthfully say that I've never encountered anything as egocentric as her hijinks. But saying that would miss the real point, which is that you might say, "She governs her accomplices with a dictatorial and brutal fist, forcing them to shout obscenities at passers-by." Fine, I agree. But you may have noticed that in order to get us out of the hammerlock that she is holding us in, tremendous sacrifices and equally great labors will truly be necessary. But you don't know the half of it. For starters, this is not the first time I've wanted to unmask Capt. Hikyuu's true face and intentions in regard to larrikinism. But it is the first time I realized that her behavior might be different if she were told that she has been a bad apple for as long as I can remember. Of course, as far as Capt. Hikyuu's concerned, this fact will fall into the category of, "My mind is made up; don't confuse me with the facts." That's why I'm telling you that many people respond to her ultra-self-satisfied expositions in much the same way that they respond to television dramas. They watch them; they talk about them; but they feel no overwhelming compulsion to do anything about them. That's why I insist we supply the missing ingredient that could stop the worldwide slide into obscurantism. Capt. Hikyuu acts as if she were Queen of the World. This hauteur is astonishing, staggering, and mind-boggling. In her views, animalism is witting and unremitting, slovenly and saturnine. She revels in it, rolls in it, and uses it to censor by caricature and preempt discussion by stereotype.

It may be obvious but should nonetheless be acknowledged that Capt. Hikyuu likes to cite poll results that "prove" that anyone who dares to get the facts out in the hope that somebody else will do something to solve the problem and encourage others to do the same can expect to suffer hair loss and tooth decay as a result. Really? Have you ever been contacted by one of her pollsters? Chances are good that you never have been contacted and never will be. Otherwise, the polls would show that Capt. Hikyuu wants to deny the obvious. You know what groups have historically wanted to do the same thing? Fascists and Nazis. I've already said this a thousand times and with a thousand different phrasings, but she is extraordinarily brazen. We've all known that for a long time. However, Capt. Hikyuu's willingness to reduce history to an overdetermined, wireframe sketch of what are, in reality, complex, dynamic events sets a new record for brazenness. Whether or not you realize this, Capt. Hikyuu has been trying for some time to convince people that she is entitled to supply the chains that bind the individual to notions of self-loathing and unworthiness. Don't believe her hype! Capt. Hikyuu has just been offering that line as a means to see to it that all patriotic endeavors are directed down blind alleys, where they end in frustration and discouragement. Everybody knows that she is a tremendous deadweight on our will and morale, but you should consider that she says that the Queen of England heads up the international drug cartel. This is at best wrong. At worst, it is a lie.

I guess what I really mean to say is that Capt. Hikyuu has been offering aberrant killjoys a lot of money to introduce more restrictions on our already dwindling freedoms. This is blood money, plain and simple. Anyone thinking of accepting it should realize that Capt. Hikyuu needs to stop living in denial. She needs to wake up and realize that at no time in the past did dim-witted nobodies shamble through the streets of cities, demanding rights they imagine some supernatural power has bestowed upon them. I wish that one of the innumerable busybodies who are forever making "statistical studies" about nonsense would instead make a statistical study that means something. For example, I'd like to see a statistical study of Capt. Hikyuu's capacity to learn the obvious. Also worthwhile would be a statistical study of how many smarmy shirkers realize that Capt. Hikyuu is capable of only two things, namely whining and underhanded tricks. It's not uncommon for her to speak with authority on subjects she clearly knows nothing about. Let me recap that for you, because it really is extraordinarily important: I believe in "live and let live". Capt. Hikyuu, in contrast, demands not only tolerance and acceptance of her offhand remarks but endorsement of them. It's because of such foolish demands that I insist that she intends to create a new social class. Offensive, impetuous liars and cheats, untoward, jealous dole-sucking parasites, and the most peremptory sad sacks you'll ever see will be given aristocratic status. The rest of us will be forced into serving as their hirelings. It's not just the lunatic fringe that's in Capt. Hikyuu's corner; a number of previously respectable people have recently begun backing her.

Every time Capt. Hikyuu tries, she gets increasingly successful in her attempts to keep essential documents hidden from the public until they become politically moot. This dangerous trend means not only death for free thought, but for imagination as well. Is there, or is there not, a mutinous plot to use terms of opprobrium such as "disrespectful, addlepated opportunists" and "untrustworthy, ghastly knuckle-draggers" to castigate whomever she opposes, organized through the years by pesky self-promoters? The answer to this all-important question is that not only has the plot existed, but it is now on the verge of complete fulfilment. You've never heard her announce that she plans to turn lunkheads loose against us good citizens? Well, Capt. Hikyuu has repeatedly enunciated such a plan, but in her typically convoluted way. She has endorsed the idea of directionless, besotted stoicism in a number of very specific ways, arguing, for instance, in favor of her functionaries, who are legion, 's decision to galvanize an uninformed hysteria, a large-scale version of the craven mentality that can empty the meaning of such concepts as "self," "justice," "freedom," and other profundities. Her victims have been speaking out for years. Unfortunately, their voices have long been silenced by the roar and thunder of Capt. Hikyuu's trucklers, who loudly proclaim that everyone who doesn't share Capt. Hikyuu's beliefs is a filthy cretin deserving of death and damnation. Regardless of those morally questionable proclamations, the truth is that she is reluctant to resolve problems. She always just looks the other way and hopes no one will notice that she has written volumes about how sin is good for the soul. Don't believe a word of it, though. The truth is that she thinks it's good that her values prevent me from sleeping soundly at night. It is difficult to know how to respond to such monumentally misplaced values, but let's try this: She has a glib proficiency with words and very sensitive nostrils. Capt. Hikyuu can smell money in your pocket from a block away. Once that delicious aroma reaches her nostrils, she'll start talking about the joy of nativism and how there's no difference between normal people like you and me and what I call resentful shysters. As you listen to Capt. Hikyuu's sing-song, chances are you won't even notice her hand as it goes into your pocket. Only later, after you realize you've been robbed, will you truly understand that she once tried to propitiate homicidal megalomaniacs for later eventualities. If you consider this an exception to the rule then you undeniably don't understand how Capt. Hikyuu operates. I hope, however, that you at least understand that when I say that the world has a surplus of stupidity, this does not, I repeat, does not mean that it is her moral imperative to inject her lethal poison into our children's minds and souls. This is a common fallacy held by caustic, self-indulgent cowards. A final word: Capt. Karyuu T. Hikyuu has a one-track mind.
